Traditionally, gajrela/gajar paak is prepared in homes with double qty of milk than grated carrots...keep them boiling/stiring for 2-3 hours...and dry fruits, ghee is added at final stage.

On my last visit, l was surprised at all the street curries now served with commercial yeasted breads and rolls or buns. Such a soft, mushy texture. . .yuck.

Nope. There is seperate naan gravy punjabi dish. We amritsari love paneer bhurji and bread. Prantha is only go with achar and makhan. There is no match of prantha and bhurji. Naan is only meant to eat with gravy food (dal makhni, malai kofta, shahi paneer etc).
