What sort of gain did you get from the cooler? Is there a noticable performance gained from having less flow resistance via the bigger core

I have same setup. Mb600. Ams hpfp. Amd main heat exchanger. Snow performance wmi stage 2.5. Now waiting for the ams intercooler and side heat exchanger. Cheers mate. Sub too

For Controller calibration, did you have the ECU done by a shop or are you doing the calibration yourself, such as with HPTuners?

@@m.j.r.productions6276 the hpfp calibration was by ams but tuned in Singapore by Bms tuning. Managed only 596 hp 830nm at crank on mustang dyno. However its temperamental and occasionally goes into soft limp mode. Still trying to trouble shoot.

Since u already using mb600 turbo by ams, hows it daily usage? Its a journal bearing right? Does it laggy on the low rpm? Im thinking of upgrading mine.. but not going to upgrade the fuel pumps since im daily using it..

@@ahmadfahim189 hi. Mb600 is dual ceramic ball bearing. Spooling is smooth but being a bigger turbo it still lag compared to stock. Boost only starts after 3.5k and explodes from 4 n peak at 4.5k. Nothing below 3.5k. So daily drive but in slow city traffic, and in C mode auto its a pain to overtake at low speeds and especially you are tired and want a smooth drive. The hpfp i believe is crucial for high end. I have seen some with 3071 peak torque at 4.5-5 but drops off quickly as fuel is a limiting factor. Imo mb600 with hpfp shd be tuned by ams. I might be sending mine over to Ams soon but downtime is min 1 week to factor in shipping to and fro.

@@laochek hi, tq for the response bro.. means it needs hpfp to support the top end.. what about the reliability for long term ? N if i took ams to tune it, do i need third party distributor to install the tune? Or i can do it by myself?

Did you drain all the coolant? How many liters of coolant did you put?

used a torque wrench to loosen the lugs??!!! nice....

lol . This particular torque wrench is 'garbage' and I use it only for the convenient leverage. I have two large torque wrenches, this one and a good one. Funny now you mention it.

Inside cabin 'engine noise'. Newer cars like to just play sounds through the sound system. This particular setup is a mechanical version of pumping engine sounds for you to hear. I prefer real exhaust sounds.

After removing the sound generator did you still get humming sounding in the interior cabin ?

No humming. However, I do plan to further investigate and completely remove all the 'stuff' associated. This does include determining what effect there might be for disconnecting the electrical or if there is a way to disable.
