What an analysis. This game is evolving so much. Great to see these players push the meta!

This kind of adaptation is weird to watch. It’s like Hbox just turned into a different player for this set

i mean, he did choose west as his coach for this summit, maybe thats what made him play better.

i like him sharing his secrets to gain support. i feel bad it comes to that but its the right choice. hes choosing acceptance over easier wins.

Good commentary on this. I think what can really help these slower matchups is really breaking down why the hits matter so much and being engaged throughout. Lovage and Scar did that great I think.

Convincing performance by HbOx but holy crap was he taking this matchup seriously. So much work put into fighting amsa

Shows how much respect he has for him as a player

tbf, he takes EVERY matchup like this. For every little thing he explained going into Amsa, there are 20 going into the various Fox mains. For some reason it seems like now he wants to share some things (19:32)

@@GammaFn. yeah I think he's trying to let people know "how hard he works up there" I'm all for it

The #1 player putting this kind of effort into preparing to beat an obscure mid tier character shows how dynamic and interesting Melee still is.
@TheStrangeBloke4 жыл бұрын
@@B463L granted that puff/yoshi is 50/50 in spite of their respective places in the tier list. Yoshi can use super armor to push through edgeguards, has eggs to counter camping, and is too heavy for a lot of puffs combos to work. Both amsa and hbox agree on this.

Nezmodgod, baby the man behind like, everyone's controllers. EDIT: the answer is probably yes btw
@TheHurricane1274 жыл бұрын
He streams himself modding controllers most days so if you just wanna listen to him speak then thats an option
@Pslamist4 жыл бұрын
He actually streams really late, so, it's definitely an option.

hbox gang and puff gang rise up, hbox has beaten mang0 and amsa so far. maybe he'll lose to leffen but idk, he 3-0'd both amsa and mang0, so, yeah.

Watching this and their set in TBH11 is so jarring On one hand amsa had improved and developed the meta so sooo much. Hungrybox looks the same. Execpt the stuff he has isnt working anymore.
