I know all too well about silent alarm switches. I actually had to activate one. They take silent alarms very seriously. I like to joke around a lot but silent alarms are no joke. No joke. I know because, like I said, I actually had to activate one due to an unruly patron at the pool where I work.

I have a weird smoke alarm at my grandparent's house, it has a picture of a fireman with the number ”1” on its face with fire behind it, it's faceplate is black plastic and the test button is a small red rectangle and the alarm itself is rectangular. Can you guys help me figure out what brand it is?

can you do a video on how to wire up an exit sign with fire alarm capability or whatever to your fire alarm or whatever by any chance? i've been wondering how you do that sort of thing. how do you know if an exit sign has that ability? i've been looking for those who have that ability but don't know how to find out if they have it or not. i hear some flash or something when the alarm is triggered. is that true?
