Nice basic, instructional video. Its always good to get a take on how others approach things. I really like that you remember to identify everything you use and even where we can get the same products... Thanks!

Excellent! I always wanted to see a "real time" step by step model making video, and it so happens to be that I just received this exact kit and it's my first try with model making. I've already primed the parts, but haven't glued them (because I've drilled the "phasers" nobs to be replaced with blinking LEDs). Super excited to watch the rest of the vids!!

I am working on 1/2500 Star Trek Motion Picture 3 in 1 model set from Round 2/AMT. I don't want to use any putty on these models, that means painting the sub-assemblies the base color, and that is more money to a poor boy like me. Thanks for the videos.

Squadron Green Putty is really good for me, And I don't have to worry about it heating up and melting plastics.

Also check the front bins at Tractor Supply for some good cheap tools too. I've usually found some good small tools there once in a while.

Have a look at Classicplastic101's build of the 2500 kits. He used a really nifty trick with white out word corrector to fill in those seams. It worked great.

Hi TrekWorks, I have an important question! My Enterprise B is finished (did it 2 years ago), however the engines separated from the hull at the pylon. Because there is relatively a lot of weight on such a small contact area, I am unsure how to re assemble that component without ruining the paint. I am looking for a way to reattach without or at least minimizing any potential damage to the surface - I would have no way to correct such an error be it through paint or decal. Thanks
