I know I'm a little late to the party, but that is one beautiful model. I'm in my 60s and retired in 2020 and about 6 months ago I took up model building and my wife bought me this kit for Christmas and I plan on starting it tomorrow. But once again what a great build if I can just get mine built it will be an accomplishment.

Fricken awesome brother. Turned out great! I'm stuck waiting on the mail for some photo etch seat belts. I went to make the belts for the NSX and turns out I've used my belt latches all up.

Beautiful job! I'm thinking of buying this kit... I love this generation of Chevy trucks... I had a 1963 back in the day. Also, I love how this model features a straight six. I've built about a thousand models with V8 engines and the straight six is a novelty. Funny since my real-life truck originally had a straight six and I pulled it to put in a 283 that I built. Straight sixes were the throwaway engines of my youth, now they're so rare outside of big rigs, I have a nostalgia for them. Indeed, I'd love to have another truck of this generation but with the straight six. I have a question.... what did you use for the plug wires? I used to do mine with black thread, but your wires have more thickness which looks better.
