Great update Gary, I built several 65 gto's as a kid and wondered why they were always a rag top. The cougar looks great and the little truck is just cool. Nice work on the furniture. I always have to film a video at least 2 times because I always drop an f bomb or 2 in them usually because I drop something I'm about to show on camara.

Good update Gary. Nice job on your Cougar. It looks great. Your GTO is coming along. One thing that you did not mention about that kit...the interior tub is extremely shallow. I think that the 85 Mustang will be an interesting build. Love your little truck & the tiny load in the back.Pretty good blooper at the end too! LOL.
@MrModelworx6 жыл бұрын
+Rick Zinck Thanks Rick, the interior tub is shallow a lot of those 60s kits suffered with that problem as you know, especially some of those old Johans they were really bad. Well done for spotting the blooper proves you watched the whole vid ha ha !! Nobody else has mentioned it.

Looks like Leisure World was a chain of hobby shops in Canada way back when. Because in the States that would have been a $4.99 model tops. Nice job on the Cougar.

Nice job man! Damn that is clean. If you're going to build a fox body Mustang, first you need to grow the mullet out and get a few domestic violence charges under your belt. ;)

One of my idiot frat brothers had one of those GOT's. He got it just because it had a Hurst "His - n Hers" shifter. For those to young to know what that was....... It was an automatic for Her ! And a second shifter for Him and the four speed. Don't ask me how this worked. It worked is all I know. It was an option from Pontiac but didn't last. Does your kit have that as an option ? Seems like I remember having one with it.
@MrModelworx6 жыл бұрын
+Ennis Anderson Not in this kit Ennis, just an auto shifter, but that's interesting, kind of like the old AMCs that had that twin shifter system.
@ennisanderson27196 жыл бұрын
GaztheK's Modelworx I'd completely forgotten about them. LOL!!! I have to say that I've always had a soft spot for the GTO of that year. Except for his ! It was crappy ! Not only that but the car he traded for it was a beautiful 64 Chevy with black tuck and roll, Crager mags and a beautiful white paint. Ran like a bat out of Hell too! But my frat brother loved his GTO and pampered it...... Until we went on a road trip and most of what I remember of the trip home was him in the back seat with head out the window and puking most of the way back ! Two days later he recovered and saw the new " paint job " . He like to never got it clean!!! We all laughed at him too! Ah... Fond memories of my wild youth.
