Apparently the cord adjuster doesn't work on poultry farm nests. They are said to slip under the weight and the solution (annoyingly) is to use another cable clamp on the rope.

Thank you for the reply. Just want to let you know that we don't recommend using the cord adjusters on nests. Best practice would be to use cable clamp on the cord.
