They won’t answer where it’s made, so probably no the USA, 550 bucks is too much. 250 I would think about it. The return on your investment doesn’t equal out.

The company is American. Where the knives are produced is a different story. Amtac and bill rapier have been asked countless times where they produce their knives. NOBODY gets a response. ( look it up , you’ll see it’s a common question). Almost 500-600 bucks for a knife? Then it should be made in the USA with quality materials and workmanship at that price.

It’s not a practice sheath. It is a storage sheath for the live blade while you’re using the trainer.

Blue training guns a a fraction of the weight of the firearm it mimics. In this case the weight difference is inconsequential.

I bought the Amtac NorthmanX 'upgrade' Nov. 2023, with a $50.00 Thanksgiving discount. I find the knife to be excellent fits my small hand like a glove, and the included blue trainer is very nice, definitely not a knife for prying anything. However... the sheath they sent with it is a horrid joke, I sent it back to them to check out the issue... and they had the audacity to send the same sheath back to me! Terrible fit, loose, rattling crap sheath, I made a video of the issue..you tell me, am I wrong to expect a $450.00 knife to come with a properly made properly fitting sheath? It locks in the groove on the handle. It won’t be perfectly snug due to the fact is is ambidextrous and also fits the trainer. They probably sent it back because it was within their specs.

I’m going to say one thing 😂… why is there a ferrous rod on a knife with 0 return for out door use 😂… better off with putting a ceramic rod for sharpening if it’s self defense… Sincerely negative Nancy

Yes you are ....wrong. it was designed by and mostly for military/outdoorsman. Decent video. You should do more research to better present a video on how an implement is used. And why it was designed.

Not an attractive knife in my opinion and I know that looks aren't the purpose of a knife but still...it's pretty ugly. Also way too expensive.
