There are no crossings on the NEC south of CT. (The one in New London CT is for people - not vehicles.)

As far as I know there are 3 Towns along the Northeast Corridor that have Railroad Crossings. One in Waterford, CT. 3 In New London, CT. Probably 5 in Stonington, CT 1 of them being a Cantilever Crossing

Riyan The Railfan Productions It’s sitting on Track 9 at the station. For the testing starting tomorrow it’ll *probably* leave Boston from 8-9AM. Test from Providence to Westerly from 10-3 and then come back to Boston. For the Friday trip back to Philly idk when it’s leaving yet.

Electric is just a form of power for locomotives. The NEC uses wires as they've been there since the Pennsalvanian Railroad and the New Heavan Railroad if I'm correct. Amtrak has maintained the wired there since their creation in 1971.

Railfanning is legal. You can railfan anywhere except big terminals

This location is private property. Both the roads and the land. Not sure who you would need to talk to for access. If you want a crossing to Railfan at where it’s a public road and they use the horn and go fast, I suggest Miners Lane in Waterford CT. Not too far from here. Plenty of parking and room.

@@antoineyoung36 yes but it is a significantly different design for higher speeds potentially reducing the amount of free space for a large horn, also I am guessing that Alstom did not consider the design for a large horn especially as it is based off a TGV. Although many would prefer an American horn, the design cannot be completely changed just for that.
