How does the driver know when to stop such a long train at such a short station platform? Here in the UK, our passenger trains are typically 9-11 carriages in length and the platforms are more than long enough to accommodate the loading and unloading of passengers along the entire length of the train!

@@derricktherailfan those trains go back and forth on the same tracks, so theres no way to turn the engine around and move it to the front when they get to one end of their trip. So the crew moves to the other end of the train and uses that car ( its called a cab car because it has the controls for the engine in it) to drive the train back where they came from.

Plane Going into/ out of, IAD Dulles ?? Just watched after the VRE run The Water Tank with all the cluster of Network Equipment.. Its a dam shame how they clustered all those repeaters transmitters etc o. Tanks these days. I did all of Harford County tanks repeating back to Proving ground plant . Never was it like today.. cities counties trying to get money any kind of way at any expense... FYI.. enter the tanks below, it's a blatter of water over your head then you climb up inside some.. 😳 bee hives bigger than a refrigerator inside. .
