Some informations o nthe sound... The high-pitched two-frequency (2-tone) sound that we hear is the asynchronous PWM that remains up to 90km/h (or "from", during decellerations), and only then we switch to synchronous pattern. This is the Alstom Palix IGBT-VVVF (a derivative of the OniX).

yes ,all TGV locomotive built after the 2xx series (the 47xx ,7xx to 9xx) use same inverters modulation and same motors.

This specific instance is by design, so that when tilting, the coaches don’t exceed the clearance envelope of the power cars, which do not tilt.
