@trainlover1999 they switch all trains heading away from the nec because its it is not electrified (ex. cresent silverstar)

@dfoosdc Ok, My son likes to watch it and sometimes he mimics when you guys are doing the engine switch. He loves to travel by Amtrak.

Wow man you can film that close In DC I would think you would be hassedle by the police and stuff I some times railfan in Newhaven CT and get nothing but flak and ask to leave the platforms is I am seen with camra Do you work for amtrak?
