Amtrak & SEPTA HD 60fps: 5 Hours of NEC Morning Rush 100 MPH Action @ Holmesburg Junction 6/22/16

All trains from 6:45 am to 12:15 pm (6/22/16). Enjoy the assorted action, which includes SEPTA Trenton Line Trains (Silverliner IV, Silverliner V, and AEM-7 Bombardier push-pull consists) and your regularly scheduled Amtrak Acela Express trains, Northeast Regionals, Keystones, and long distance service. Private car Kitchi Gammi Club also makes an appearance, trailing on Carolinian 79, and the last ACS-64, 670, makes her appearance on her test run to Boston. Enjoy =)
Of course, due to my luck, things start getting a bit delayed around 10:00 am due to a bridge strike near North Philadelphia, which ties up the road and Holmes Interlocking for the next several hours.

If you recall a few months ago, they axed Regional 181 and tacked a few cars onto the Palmetto to take those passengers, since the two trains ran relatively close together.

One day i went to Holmesburg Junction and on the way there was a keystone at least going over the speed of 100 MPH. Idk why keystones go the Fastest. Great Vid!

The other trains could probably do that speed, but it takes much longer for them to accelerate because of the extra cars. Plus the keystone doesn't stop at all the places a northeast regional or acelas would.

The train at eight minutes and forty seconds is Amtrak 51, the Chicago-bound Cardinal, I am guessing.

I thought SEPTA trains all had raised/same-level platform boarding, without need for stairs to board/disembark. Rather disappointing to find out that is/may not always be the case, then.
