Brian McDonnell I have rode Amtrak on 8 separate trains, and no heritage units, just units in regular colors. I have only seen 1 heritage unit, the veterans unit # 42 while it was parked in a yard, from onboard an Amtrak train accelerating from a station stop

Brian McDonnell I also saw veterans unit 42 at Philly 30th Street last October I was onboard NE regional train 85, and I also saw it in June at Ivy City Yard I was onboard train 92 accelerating out of DC Union Station

Great double here! The CSX® Intermodal™ unit well entered Amtrak® Lakeland at about 20 m.p.h. and held speed until halfway through; I reckon Dispatch wanted it holding a mile in trail of the passenger train, for braking distance in case of derailment.
