Damn... that engineer in 82 was great! That's probably one of the loudest/longest horn sequences I've heard at San Clemente! Usually the engineers are super soft on it through there. Good stuff!

I loved this video. On the first train, I never seen the end of train having two engines. On the second train, it is completely unusual to see a California train with a Amtrak Cascade train at the end. The third train had a really weird horn. Great video, feel proud of yourself.

The Amtrak Cascades engine does the trip down to San Diego frequently. I live in the area, and I've seen it multiple times now. I've also seen old-ish looking engine 90208 or 90205 or something like that.

Never been to CA so that's the closest I've ever seen the train tracks to the beach, they're almost literally right on the beach. Only other place I've seen them that close is Michigan City In. by Lake Michigan
