Alot of people think it. That part of the state borders Lake Michigan. It’s a common occurrence during the winter to have lake effect snow. I’m not a meteorologist, though, so I’m not the best person to discuss this.

Yep, love it when the bands of Lake Effect actually hit where I live..it typically dumps on the areas East of me.

@@JohnnyFontane528 about 30 years ago I was skiing in valpo ski area, in the morning there was 2" of snow, by 5 there was 4&1/2 feet.
