Guatemala city has a large Korean neighborhood with Korean company offices. There are also stores, and restaurants. The neighborhood is nice and clean. Also ,the Roman Catholic church has many missionaries from Korea.

3:25 There is a huge Korean community in Guatemala, most of them owners of Apparel Factories, who are hardworkers and really nice people, and delivering Guatemalan people with jobs. I am from Guatemala, really loved your video, the shots of Lake Atitlan and my favourite city Antigua Guatemala. Although Guatemala have so many problems, deep inside is a really lovely, beautiful country, with beautiful people. I am glad that you enjoyed your stay in my country, and you are always welcome back

The Korean at the Airport may be due to the fact a lot of the factories set up in the country were done by Korean Manufacturing firms back in the late 1900s based on what I saw on wiki

Ah cool. I’ve heard there’s a sizable expat community of Koreans there too.

At my high school NCP, I’m studying Latin America so it was cool to see the rugged landscape of Central America!

Your comment on the time change confused me because I recall Guatemala not being on DST, but I thought Mexico was. Turns out Mexico is now permanently off DST, unless you’re on the U.S. border and you can observe the time of your American counterparts.
