Pro tip from the airline industry: Use fresh, dry coffee grounds to soak up vomit. Does a bang-up job absorbing, and smells like someone just brewed a pot of fresh coffee.

I was working the top of the slides at a waterpark. A woman comes up with a boy about 3 years old. I tell the mom she has to take her son back down the stairs since he's too small for the ride. She says I can't tell her what to do. She puts her kid on and hops right after. I yelled at the lifeguard at the bottom to watch out. The kid and mom plop out, the guard gets right on it, save this boy who's clearly panicked and can't swim, and the lifeguard gets a screamfest from the mother. Fortunately, the captain on duty saw and she had no patience for irresponsible parents.

Knotts Berry Farm was indeed the first theme park. It was a wild west theme, a Saloon, an Indian Village with teepees and costumed dancers, pony rides, a Gunfighter battle on the street, and the BIG RIDE was a stagecoach ride, complete with a stagecoach holdup by outlaws on horses. My Mum actually remembered Knotts Berry farm when it was just a working farm that also had a roadside stand that sold Boysenberries.

19:08 This happened at Six Flags over Georgia. The ride was The Batman. In 2008, a teenager hopped TWO fences to get to where his hat fell off, and while he was in there, the ride caught him and clean decapitated him. In 2002, a park employee got killed in the same fashion. He was under the ride and was kicked in the head by a passenger (The Batman, the track is above you and your legs dangle) and killed, no decapitation, however the passenger’s leg was shattered.

Whatever amusement park story 15 was talking about (assuming it was true), I hope it’s been shut down or they have different, more ethical workers now.

Knotts Berry Farm is not the first theme park in the United States. Knotts Berry Farm was opened in 1920. Lake Compounce in CT was opened in 1846, so that's much older. I had to Google it because i originally thought it might be Knoebels in PA, but that was opened in 1926. Knoebels is the oldest FREE theme park in the US though. Yes, it's FREE! You only pay for tickets to ride the rides, not to enter the park. One of my favorite places. They also have a campground next door.

Wow; worst thing that happened to me was a kid riding the bumper boats jumping into the pool to get away from a wasp. Had to stop the ride and retrieve is boat.

I work the First big mouse theme park. My friend dad needed a job and called me for a reference. I told him where to go and what to do and he got the job as a train engineer. Friend is super happy about this because her dad has been out of a job for a while. Fast forward six months and I hear that the train engine caught on fire and all I could this was please don’t let it be that idiot who I helped. Sure enough my friend calls me on my cell crying that her dad has second degree burns all over his legs and how was I going to fix this? I asked what do you mean? Apparently since I told this idiot of a dad who to call and where to fill out an application it’s my fault and I am not even in attractions. I guess the Apple didn’t fall far from the tree in that stupid family. As you might can tell we are n longer friends.
