While I want Flight Deck to be replaced, I don't want one coaster to replace both Flight Deck and Time Warp UNLESS it has enough throughput to match the same amount of people. Otherwise, either "Nor'easter" Flight Deck and replace Time Warp, or replace both with dualling coasters. The Nor'easter treatment has shown that SLC's can actually be amazing coasters.

I'd like to see Time Warp and Flight Deck and Kingswood go so the park can expand into the parking lot, and maybe similarly on the other side with the courtyard / catering area. The remaining parking lot space can be replaced with parking structures (and maybe some funding towards expanding the subway north). This is similar to what a lot of urbanized parks did especially in California.

I’m a former Flight Deck ride op, and even I would not be sad to see it leave. Flight Deck is unfixable because the track work is just terrible, and new restraints can’t fix that. Nopuko Air Coaster and the former Mind Eraser at Six Flags America are two SLCs that got upgraded with new trains and are still considered incredibly painful.

Of all the times I've been to Wonderland, I've never once heard someone shout "Lets do the Timewarp again!!" Dragonfyre seems safe because it's a great introduction to going inverted on a coaster, and it actually fits with the land's theming. I wouldn't miss Riptide or Flightdeck if they removed them, though.

For Time Warp, the park cancelled its long term maintenance back in April of this year. And the trains are currently sitting out on the track. The ride also was not seen at all in the Alpenfury trailer. Given that and everything you said, I believe Time Warp closes this offseason and Flight Deck goes either next season or the following.

Carowinds is my home park and in regards to the new digital signs, they put one in front of nighthawk this season then closed it right after that sign went live 😅 so those digital signs don’t mean anything unfortunately

The only reason I don't think a resort area will be added is, that area of the park is comparatively very dead and the crowds need to be dispersed more evenly throughout the park. Removing more rides from that area will only further deaden the Grand World Expo area. They're going to have to get a main attraction over there to pull some bodies in.

I think if CW does build accommodations on their property, it will be a tower hotel/resort, with a parking complex. When you think about it, CW has limited space, and something more expansive wouldn't work. Also, the kingwoods area is zoned for lodging, im assuming that's where it would be built.

In the 90s, I watched TLC and soul for real at Kingswood. That was the only time I remember ever going there. It may be a good stage for smaller venue for local artists or cultural days, but that's it. They would need to pour a bit of cash to refurbish it. As for tomb raider, I maybe last went on it 5 years ago, not really a bit impact on my mind but still would have liked to have gotten my own pictures before it's removed

Soul for Real and TLC!!! 💖💖 In the 90s there was ALWAYS something going on a Canada's Wonderland from YTV doing their Pskoblast concerts to the radio stations that were often there. Now it looks like TobyMac and other country artists were the last to perform there in 2018. But the hype seemingly died long before then, with 2011 looking like it's last good year...though it also looks very sparse between 1999 to 2011. Wtf happened? They were still pulling big names when they did have things booked.

I called out Dragon Fyer not leaving as soon as I heard it on here. A lot of the speculation on here doesn't make sense to the way Canada's Wonderland has been run. Regardless of who owns it, which is still Cedar Fairs (BTW). The park is spending a lot of money this off season and I doubt they will spend that much next off season a side from repairs. I suspect that the wooden rollercoaster by the bat has it's days numbered as SpineBuster is most likely the wooden staying. Kingwood is probably going first as it's old and run down and the park knows it. So, I would say this is the part of the park to get an overhaul next. Not sure it'll be this year or next due to how much money is being spent already. But would for sure put it on my next to do list.

I rather have it be Time Warp and flight deck be ripped out of the park completely then dragon fire and the bat. I would love to see dragon fire and the bat stay for at least the next 5 years to at least. Hopefully at minimum a decade or two before they both retire I'm a huge multi-looping roller coaster fan so that's why I love both old and new, especially older looping coasters like dragon fire and the bat Flight Deck and Time Warp though I really simply don't care about those can get ripped out of the park

Time Warp can go. I cut my foot during one of the inversions during my visit in 2019. The trains are also uncomfortable (you're standing in a cage on a metal platform). I wouldn't mind getting a flat ride put in its place. As for Flight Deck, the park could have it re-tracked and give the ride more comfortable restraints, similar to the Great Nor'Easter in Wildwood.

Just got to the end of the video. I hope Time Warp doesn't go. I don't get the hate for it online. I went to Canada's Wonderland 64 times last year and Time Warp was always extremely busy. People love this ride and it always has a line unlike some rides (Minebuster, Dragon Fyre, WIld Beast, Skyhawk, Soaring Timbers) plus it's such a unique coaster. I ride Time Warp at least 10 times every visit.

Wonderland has had the same problem. It has a few good roller coasters and a lot of trash roller coasters. Theming in areas like Medieval Faire just looks terrible. Wonderland has 7 generic coasters that Six Flags could just come along and move to US parks or sell for cash.. Flight Deck, Time Warp, The Bat, The Fly, Silver Streak, Taxi Jam, and BLSC. Some are just scrap steel. I’ll bet Six Flags takes Wonderland out of the coaster count business. Here are the rides I would invest in I go for the rare or less gimmicky rides. 1. Remove Flight Deck and Time Warp together 2. Install a modern B&M, Mack, or Vekoma looping coaster in Flight Deck area. Replacement for Dragon Fire. 3. REMOVE: Dragon Fire, Riptide, Go Carts, Spinnovator, Wilde Beaste 4. Install a Vekoma Suspended Thrill Coaster and Vekoma duelling Boomerang in Medieval Faire. Why? Rare. Only 2 of in the world. Germany and Ireland. Na Finna Force in Ireland was incredible. It’s castle theming would be perfect for Wonderland.. The Family Boomerang Quest(not a duelling version) and the STC worked perfectly together. Butter smooth. Bettor than B&M(elements). Perfect first coaster for anyone who wants to go upside down. BIG attendance draw. Dragon Fire could be left alone with this option. 5. Remove the Bat and the Fly 6. Combine Fly and Bat area to a family launch coaster themed to Alpen. A snowmobile launch coaster. Model them after the original Bombardier machines. Something that fits into Allen area. Modern Vekoma motorbike or Premiere Rides. Make the station a Lodge. Standup skiing or snowboarding coaster off the mountain would be cool. Not going to happen. 7. Remove Kingswood. 8. Install a Vekoma or B&M flying coaster to load where Time Warp was and travel towards Kingswood. A flying coaster with no inversions would be epic. A “Flyper” coaster. BIG Money draw here. 9. Install a new Mack teacup ride where cups shaped like coffee cups and donuts. Yes this is a gimmick. Location? 10. Install a Mack Seastorm Ride called New Found Land. Location? 11. Build a ground up Gravity Group wood coaster or RMC. Location? 12. Install Mack Extreme Spinning Coaster where BLSC currently is themed to Frontier Stage Coaches. (Long Term). BLSC will enentually get removed for spare parts for US parks.

I’m really hoping that wonderland puts in a few more like mid level rides? I’m too chicken for the really big thrill rides like behemoth, leviathan, Yukon striker and I assume aspen fury. But I also like more of a thrill than the kids roller coasters. My personal favourites are vortex, dragon fire, mindbuster and backlot stunt! So I personally would like to see more mid level stuff!

Demolish and remove flight deck! New trains won’t change that it’s a prefab track layout found all over the world. They seem to be going for all unique rides so hopefully it’s time for flight deck to come down
