I see you are struggeling in exact the same way with the UI as I do on my Amutorch XT60. A very great light but the UI is... Everytime I grab it I end up in a wild ride of clicking and holding and clicking again, and the light keeps doing things until I figure it out again and gain back control over the beast.

Does your XT60 turn off after turbo step down?

The flashlight is interesting for its dimensions. Would be very in demand as a headlight. However, the use of titanium with low thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity for the manufacture of a flashlight body is a dubious solution. In UI, he looks like Sofirn HS10. The manufacture of silver body would be ideal. Great electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity, attractive appearance, suitability as a magnificent gift. With small sizes, the difference in the density of silver and titanium will not affect the total mass of the flashlight.

First time step down was at 25 secs, 2nd time was at 35 secs. It varies on heat.

Hey it's an E3S....turned on it's side. LOL. I love my E3S. I have the "updated" version with steps and ramping and chose the neutral 5000K LED's instead of the warm 4000K or the cool 6500K options. Same as this light, it's the updated Amutorch UI. If anyone is having trouble getting the better fitting slightly more power 20350's, check in Vape shops, they are a pretty common battery for vaporizers. You'll get an extra 150 mA's juice out of them, less voltage sag, they fit better inside and dissipate heat a little better for longer Turbo runtimes. Due to the wide angle of this beam this would make an excellent emergency work light for a motorist or maybe a campground. The UI takes a little getting used to but once you got it, it's a no brainer. I usually just use the steps as it's one click on, click and hold for a half second off, then quick clicks to change brightness levels and double click for Turbo, then one click to go back to previous level from Turbo. Like I said once you get used to it, it's really easy. I think what they did is try to cram as many modes as possible on these little torches as they could for "value". Which is great but until you learn the morse code of the flashlight it can get frustrating. But now I can ramp, switch between modes, light levels all that good stuff...after a year of owning it on my keychain. LOL. What I like to do with mine since it has mode memory in both the stepping and the ramping modes is have the stepping at the medium or 350 lumen setting and have the ramping mode at it's lowest, so if I have to light a path or something I can quickly tap it and put it on the medium mode right away with an option to go to the high 700 lumen setting, but if I have to look at something close up I turn on the ramping mode by holding the button which is low so I don't napalm myself just trying to look at a map or something with an option to ramp up. Turbo works in both modes. Once you get the hang of the UI you'll like it....eventually. I think if they offed this light in the 3 colour options of the E3S it could be a winner. The E3S uses 3 SST-20's which are like the workhorse of the LED world with many colour options etc. If they offered this light in 4K, 5K, 6.5K like the E3S, and maybe tone down the modes a little, like just have ramping or stepping only, as it's just a work light, not a flashlight, it would definitely be a winner. Excellent 6 star review as always, sir.

It's nice once you get used to the light not turning off from Turbo. I just use Turbo a lot and it throws me at first.

Could do with a clip for a jacket pocket for light weight hands free lighting. Not sure what other use it'd have for it really, i have other area lights with much better run time.

I have the "new" Amutorch E3S and it came with a clip, maybe it would have been more applicable to this flashlight than on the 3 LED keychain model I have.

That’s the thing eh? As much as I love and have 90 degree mules they are egotistical lights. They only benefit me and blind everyone else…. This one seems lovely but I don’t need it…. I bought a different 90 degree flooder I also don’t need. Wizard c2 pro in sand/tan. The light is perfect with the lower levels as an area light. Small, magnetic and lights an area. Ti is plain cool.
