+Rani Jones About a High School Boy named Araragi Koyomi who after having an encounter with a vampire starts to come across girls whose lives are somehow messed up by devils or similar oddities and how he saves them. Its not your typical action fantasy anime as the plot heavily depends on dialogue. You'll sometimes see episodes filled with nothing but people talking to each other. But if you get into it, its actually pretty interesting. Also if you don't know a few basic japanese words you'll miss out a lot of word play. Since the story isn't animated in the chronological order, you'll get confused a lot about the story but I recommend watching it in the release order

idk, poeple say stuff like "monogatari is gross harem" and "overly sexualized" and blah blah so let me tell you something. I'm a girl and I liked it immensely, because a) half of it is a troll and if you didn't catch it, just chill out and watch it again in a few years when you grow up a bit (I dropped it for the first time and watched it 2 years later) b) the female characters get a lot more character development than Araragi and moreover they are very much like real girls. take Karen, Hitagi and Suruga, both of them work out, I don't know how about you, but that's what people normally do to stay good looking, not like all the shoujo anime girls out there who only eat cake and worry about their love interest's every fart. Also, Tsubasa and Nadeko are both beautifully written characters who in the end need to learn to love themselves on their own, without "getting the guy" .. self love is not something that's touched upon in anime, yet I think it's so important, especially today. c) Even though Mayoi is the "loli" here, the conversations between her and Araragi are actually very witty, funny and, yes lewd, but what about that? It's only anime,so just sit back for a while and be entertained. Really, monogatari is so versatile that it shouldn't be tossed off as a simple harem garbage. Try watching something like yosuga no sora and then complain about incest.

It's funny, though, 'cause you actually have a picture of a character from Magi which was produced by A-1 and A-1's rather bad at animating, yet you're insulting shaft. I.G.'s made several criticized anime.. SAO, GC and Magi which, imho, are potentially good anime but treated the wrong way. Go and watch as Kirito fights Gleam Eyes in SAO, the animation is awful. I don't think I can take your opinion seriously, but I still respect it. Monogatari's probably one of the deepest shows nowadays, SHAFT's tried its hardest to make all the details from the Light Novel fit into the anime. Edit: I wrote "I.G." before the edit instead of "A-1", I put the wrong names, my most humbled apologies.
