In the Philippines, singing is like eating rice. It's just normal. We got singing contests for all ages in schools, local communities, provincial level and national events. Then people do karaoke when they have parties where people all ages participate

On your question on how they can be this good at this age, the same reason why kids in the US play basketball better than most countries. A lot more kids in the US participate in basketball competitions in comparison to others. In the Philippines, singing competitions are almost a daily event.

BRey rey that is true. Singing is like the national pastime there..lol..videoke or what everyone in the usa know as karaoke is something very common. I think all houses that can afford it has them. Music plays there in public transportation like jeepmeys or at the mall or in any street. It isnt uncommon to be walking and hearing someone singing karaoke. Music in general plays almost everywhere . I dont think you can pass a few blocks without hearing them. Also singing contest in the philippines are very competitive even in local competiton.there are countless of them... But national competition is even more intense These boys are the product of Tawag Ng Tanghalan (TNT)national singing competiton. Each of them to get to the semis has to sing daily and defeat the other contestants of that day. Then they become weekly winner. I think they just compete every day till they lose or has to much win to qualify in the semis. But these three kids won daily many times to get to the finals. You can watch their individual performances somewhere in youtube. Even the adult singers in the philippines . Many are product of singing competitions.

yah that's true singing competition here in our country Philippines is so very hard and competitive even in our local barangay so hard to win, if you are not a very good or good as a pro singer your not gonna win. also you'll need to be unique in your singing voice so that you'll be recognized. belter is the most common winner in singing competition here.and I think that's why some of Filipinos aud in broadway because wants to be recognized and there's no space of them. that my only observation.

From right to left their ages are 11(Francis), 12(Mackie) and 13(Keifer). they were just runner ups on a singing competition Tawag Ng Tanghalan (where they got their group name TNT) and they placed (left to right) 2nd, 3rd and 5th on the said competition ..

the 4th runner up is Sheena Belarmino, she's also a contestant on Your Face Sounds Familiar and I think the winner went back home to his province, his name is John CLyd Talili, unfortunately he was sick when these three (TNT Boys) were asked to do an impromptu singing battle in their GGV guesting which went viral so he did not become part of their group.

I totally agree with you..but for sure Philippine is the country that has so many talented singers..singing is part of their own lives..these boys learn how to sing naturally..they only to be polished for stage performing..they dont learn singing in academy but they learn it as part of their life..I know them since we are in Southeast Asia...

So far as i know, these boys never go for a voice lesson or vocal coaching, they just came out from their own home town and go for a singing competition in one tv program. And that's how they discover how good they are. Nice reaction from you. I Thank you for that.

Children's brain is a sponge and absorb everything. They're young, musical geniuses! They're naturally gifted and have a great hearing and creative cognitive ability to process and master all these vocal techniques. These children are learning to sing from the age of 2 and 3. I was singing since I was 3. All I remember is singing. I even talk with singing and I answer with singing.

That showmanship and confidence came about from a season long competition on Tawag ng Tanghalan (TNT). Once they become semi-finalists, they are given rehearsals and vocal workshops together with other TNT artists. After grand finals (all 3 are in the top 5), they are concert-ready!

I watched the short movie of the The million Dreams(their life story) and I cried especially for Frances even the one who put it for reaction was teary but by now maybe you searched them already . Ahhh, you brought me back to my 1980s-1990s years! "rolling around in mud" as a girl that was me and playing with G. I. Joe. Shoot I was painting Barbie's face with nail polish and having her wrestle with my Hulk Hogan figurine. I was then racing home for Ghost Busters & Thundercats. Here in Philippines every household they have music machine they called KARAOKE, everyday singing or occasion or ordinary day you can sing what ever you want to sang a song or your favorite song and Master it that you can develop your voice to low note and high note that's it.!

Perhaps those 3kids at a very young age knows how life difficult life was...for instance getting through hunger by just drinking water and music was the only constant in their young life...so I guess,that's where all those passion,maturity & love came from whenever they sing&perform. giving their all everytime they sing coz that's how thankful&greatful they are of what their singing voice blessed them.

In the Philippines music is second to none because there is no noise restriction . Karaoke is played all hours. Children join in until 2,3, in the morning. It's a part of life everyone is happy
