Metal piece on top of strap digs into hand and leaves marks. Everything else is fine. Considering spending more and just getting the official straps if i can't find a workaround for the buckle piece

how is the metal peace even touching your skin when its on the top ? the part that touches your hand is not metal. I guess you bought a different brand one that looks like this

@@TechandDesign I'm talking about this exact product. Look at the metal hinge portion at the the top of the buckle. It connects to the strap that goes to the body of the grip. That will dig in into the top of your hand when this is tightened down... and it doesn't matter how loose you make it.

I use these everyday and never had that problem. but again - everyone has different hands - so I guess you should return them and get a pair that doesn’t have any metal like these

whenever i try to pull the battery out the black strip thing does nothing no matter how hard i pull on it, is there a way to fix this?

no fix really, just pull out like you would is there was no strap

Line the plastic pull strap to the center of battery then gently pull

OP is right. The tab is useless most of the time. Too short and too slippery. I pull it and it just slips through your fingers. Nearly all the time I have to use something to pop the battery out. Apart from that this is a great product. I just wish they made the tab with more grip on it and maybe a little longer as well. Might be a good idea if you could come up with a replacement cord/tab or something. Maybe something a bit more sturdy that fits through the tab hole.

There is a very simple solution here. Remove those useless pull tabs. You can remove the battery by using a small flat head screw driver (or something else) and simply using it to grab the positive side of the battery and pop it outwards. When you reinsert the battery do so by installing the negative side first and slightly push it upwards into the battery compartment and then push downwards on the positive side. It’s that easy.
