Once you had it on end should have tied doors back, unloaded or tied stuff down and raised dump to max and backed up to boiler, chained it to back rail with metal bars under legs then lowered the dump. Should do the lifting for you. I usually do things the way you did it though.

For future reference, when you had the stove sideways to the trailer, you should have raised the dump bed and laid the stove down then lowered the bed. Mechanical is always better than brute strength.

How many residential and commercial accounts do you do as a solo operator?
@AMWSERVICESLLC6 ай бұрын

👍only reason I ask is I’ve been doing snow for 9 years solo and trying to figure out how to downsize without taking a huge financial hit. I’m currently at 31 residential, 8 smaller businesses and 1 eight house condo association. I have a guy that helps me when he’s off and takes 3/4 of my businesses but that’s rare.

I live in SE N.D. and I can NOT figure out why you guys use so much salt. It's no wonder your vehicles rot away. Just an observation but......?
@Will976756 ай бұрын
What do you guys use up there? Where I’m at in Texas salt isn’t really used, sand is spread on roadways for traction.
@jamesruss77066 ай бұрын
With commercial clients, the contractor puts down extra salt/calcium for the simple fact of preventing slips and falls. Contractors are liable per some contracts.
@mjnelligan72886 ай бұрын
Ur also paid to spread salt everytime every client is different, but it all depends
@Ray000696 ай бұрын
The problem is that there is so many people that live in Minnesota and Wisconsin state that complain about the slippery icy conditions. If you don’t put a grip on it. You’ll be facing a lawsuit. I learn my lesson but again the customer pays for the salt so it’s not like we’re throwing it down for free.
