I know this is off topic when I sue to go out doing snow removal I started out with Wheel Horse C160 & C165 with a plow and single stage snow blower over time upgraded to a Polaris sportsman 500 with plowing & a Kobuta GF1800 with a two state snow blower and for lager area a John Deere 1025r with a loader and bucket I looked at either buying a Bobcat, Ghel, New Holand, Cat, Case, Kobuta skid steer the pricing for a used one was way out of my budget. I know the tractor is not as versatile for quick work or Mannering around tight areas. I found I had enough power to still push wet heavy snow and build up some decent snow piles. keep up the good content

Hey Mike, your videos are really cool - you have the total support of all of us concrete crew guys down here in Mawson Base in Antartica. If you are ever down our way, you always have a job with us - there are plenty of snowplow blades to unbend, weather vanes to weld up and install, replacing down-squirt pipes that freeze up and blow in the winter. Always something to do plus repairing the concrete runway at the airstrip. Damn hot down here at the moment - temps are up around 20° degrees F. That is hot for us. Keep up the good work. Mike, the Case/Snow Caster works way better than you can imagine, but you need chains for sure and head phones or plugs. The short and wide shoot does not plug and if it does, run into the snow more, I am a little more east of you and it blows thru slush really good. Make sure you clean the snow out when done otherwise the shoot won't turn and just regular oil on bearings,chute and chain every time. I have had mine for over ten years and have huge driveways and sidewalks, you can still buy blade,feet in town thru that one warehouse kinda out by you, bearing, jack shaft and everything are still available, there is a clutch in the front, its a pad and cheap and I would change because its old and they decay, the deeper the snow the better it works but REALLY NEEDS CHAINS!!! to make it unstoppable!!! P.S. zip tie foil bubble wrap down over the your feet holders or your feet will get cold even with Sorrels on, with foil you can wear tennies. In deep snow it is faster than plowing 4ft every time with no winnroll, watch the cracks its a very sudden stop and not good. Get tuff get a Case. lol

Mike, I work for a municipality and use a Kubotoa B series with a snowblower for sidewalks. We have to replace the chain annually because they stretch out. It's the nature of the beast...

I'd say give that little snowblower at least one or two snowfalls before deciding to sell it. Get some nice noise cancelling headphones or earbuds under ear muffs and shouldnt hear it too much. The only other thing is that the loader might be substantially quicker at moving snow than that little thing.
