Every pianist will sound a little like their contemporaries of the day, I can hear Satie, Schuman,and Chopin, that was the influence at that time. This lady was a phenomenal composer and pianist in her own right, in a time when most women were still chained to the kitchen.

Chopin's influence is all over this piece, yes, although I think it's sort of more the likes of Schumann it's influenced by. :)

And you have this piece of music which is so obviously a copy of Schumann's and Mendelssohn's music for young players and there it is, "do I sense some Chopin?". Irritating.
