I honestly thought anne's voice was part of the character and that the actress playing her spoke differently. I am SO in love with this show! I have already finished the entire season and I can't wait for next season ♡♡♡ Anne is absolutely amazing! AmyBeth is, as Anne would say, just DEVINE as Anne ♡

Amybeth is the perfect Anne ! But everyone should read the books. This series has ‘fleshed out’ the various story lines & people, which at first bothered me a bit, including the distressing flashbacks Anne has, but found myself tearing up & loving it after all. When I emigrated I bought the whole series for my library. Also ‘Emily of New Moon’ is a wonderful read with elements of Emily books popping up in this series. Also the ‘road to Avonlea’ series by Sullivan ent was & always will be the perfect adaptation ever.

Doc N A and interesting to note that RH Thomson who played Matthew in Anne with An E was also one of the cast in Road to Avonlea! And he acted with Megan Follows (the 1985 Anne of Green Gables movie series) and Miranda de Pancier, the co-producer of Anne with an E played Josie Pye in the 1985 Anne of Green Gables too!

I used to feel like that about myself. And I had some help feeling like that about myself because of my school bullies. But I’m grown now and I’ve come to realize I have a face with character. It may not be beautiful but it’s interesting. I hope you’ll realize that about yourself eventually. A friendly smile and a kind word to others will go a long way toward making people think you are beautiful or special. I assume you are young so I’ll tell you that ALL my equally “unusual” looking high school friends have enjoyed long and happy marriages, myself included. Hang in there, it eventually gets better. Oh, one more thing. Have you ever seen the actor Don Knotts? Look him up. I read somewhere once that he was one of the most popular kids in his class as well as class president because he was funny and outgoing. Looks aren’t everything.
