Well you really went down a rabbit hole. Love it! She recorded this at Lucas Film studios. Wrote it for a film but yes it’s about her son.This song the one breath between life and death and that’s the one difference keeping them apart but close. One of my ultimate favorites. Amazing live also

Some background: "Since Voice from the Stone follows the story of a nurse trying to help a mute young boy who has recently lost his mother speak again, Lee felt that the plot "resonated very deeply" with her due to the fact that she had recently become a mother. The song she was asked to write was meant to illustrate the child's deceased mother's perspective and the feelings of unlimited love that extend even beyond death. In the movie, the mother's character is a classical singer and a piano player who also enjoyed the perks of motherhood; Lee expressed her compatibility with the given description, saying, "There is no way that this could have been more me! It's meant to be me, it has to be me, and I'm writing this song!". She uses elements of water as her sister died in the bath at home through a tragic accident i think shes using the element of water to keep a connection to her i lost my mum and dad to cancer in 2015 and 2017 this song really helped with the pain that line we are one breath apart has me in tears i like to think there watching over me like amys watching over the little boy in the video whos actually her son i defy anyone not to cry to this track its heartbreakingly beautiful
