The little boy is amys real life son amy always uses water elements shes supposed to be a ghost in the video amys sister tragically died in the bath at home when amy was six i think she had a seizure although this is written for her son there could also be a connection reaching out to her younger sister its a heartbreakingly beautiful song i lost my mum and dad to cancer 2015 and 2017 i can remember being in a foetal position on my bed just sobbing to this it helped me with there loss to think that there watching over me like amy is with the little boy i defy anyone not to cry to this its beautiful

Dora, Amy Lee (from the band Evanescence ) co-wrote this song for the Independent Film 'Voice From The Stone ' the song plays out the Ending Credits. This song directly correlates to the main theme in the movie. The mother passes away and before she dies, she tells her son to speak to her; she'll always be looking after her beloved son. The mother was a famous Concert Pianist!! The movie is Beautifully Haunting, and was filmed in Italy. It's really worthwhile to see this film. You had a beautiful reaction to this beautiful song, from the very talented frontwoman of Evanescence- She's an amazing artist !!! I'm happy to subscribe and watch as you experience new music !! 😘

Hi Dora, This is just to expand a bit on an earlier comment: Some background: "Since Voice from the Stone follows the story of a nurse trying to help a mute young boy who has recently lost his mother speak again, Lee felt that the plot "resonated very deeply" with her due to the fact that she had recently become a mother. The song she was asked to write was meant to illustrate the child's deceased mother's perspective and the feelings of unlimited love that extend even beyond death. In the movie, the mother's character is a classical singer and a piano player who also enjoyed the perks of motherhood; Lee expressed her compatibility with the given description, saying, "There is no way that this could have been more me! It's meant to be me, it has to be me, and I'm writing this song!". The singer further added that "it wasn't a stretch, in any way, for me to put myself exactly in the spot where I needed to be to write this song".

That was a beautiful song. Never heard it before. For some reason the structure of the song reminded me of Tori Amos songs. Tori is a very underrated singer, writer, and composer. Dora, you should react to one of Tori's songs. A Sorta Fairytale and Sweet the Sting are great tracks. My favorite song of hers is Taxi Ride. God Bless!
