Amy is amazing. Leslie Knope is the greatest character in the cannon of TV history, and Parks & Rec is a testament to Amy Poehler's genius. She should've gotten an Emmy for Parks and an Oscar for Inside Out. Both of those roles were important, difficult, and meaningful to art, America, and the human experience for which Amy Poehler is a true artist. She is to TV what Billy Bragg is to music, and I believe Amy Poehler is a martyr for taking stand against the Apartheid Wall in Palestine and that is why she was denied those acknowledgemental achievements. Amy Poehler is a GREAT AMERICAN. I wish she would run for president.
