I understand what Ricky is saying. He doesn't want Amy to get into the habit of asking her parents every time they need something. However, I don't entirely agree with him. 1) Amy is underage, she is supposed to still live with her parents and be financially dependent on them. The fact she lives with Ricky shouldn't change that. Her parents have every right to provide her with stuff if she needs it and it's understandable she asks them now before she's legally an adult and has to manage alone. 2) Ricky is partly pissed off about this for the wrong reason. He kept Adrian's message, he knows she wants him back and is afraid of being tempted to give in. Therefore, he is frustrated, wants his relationship with Amy to be perfect and so every little problem becomes huge in his eyes because he is frustrated with something else.
