The kitchen is awesome. All the rooms are wonderful, but the kitchen wins, hands down! I don't think I've EVER seen so many items in a single miniature kitchen before and it makes mine look like it belongs to Old Mother Hubbard. I absolutely love how you've filled all the drawers in every room. You also did a wonderful job with the photos and artwork. I just don't see how you can sell such a personalized home. I hope you can keep it. Maybe display for charity fundraising events or the local library. Wow! Just...Wow!

Hi. This is by far the most beautiful and elaborate mini home I have ever seen and I absolutely love it. What is the name of the house kit and the brand? Also, what was your experience with the quality of the kit and pitting it together? This was a true labor of love and it shows in every bit of detail. I am interested in building a doll house also. I LOVE how detailed you became in the contents of the drawers, dish drainer & the master bedroom. Speaking of drawers and contents in the master bedroom, in the lingere' drawer you forgot to add a girl's favorite (full sized) toy! Gee, I wonder if they even sell little items of such nature??? ;-)

This house and your crafstmanship and attention to detail are amazing. You should send pics and info into some miniature magazines. I am doing research right now and am wanting to make my 1st mini home and i want to do so much detail like you did. I am in awe. The thing that is intimidating me thte most is wiring. Essp since i dont know yet what lights and things i will own. Do you have any advice on wiring and lighting? How did you run them on different switches? Beautful beautiful work. One of a kind and priceless.

+Rebecca Chewning, I haven't checked on these comments in years, so just received this now and can't thank you enough for your lovely comments. I am not going to lie, electricity is a major major major pain, and has left me with more sleepless nights than I care to say. We used the electrical tape system for dollhouses, and I've since learned there are much more reliable ways to electrify a dollhouse, so I'd probably in the future research doing that (not sure the names). Otherwise I have no real advice, other than to lay any electrical 'foundation' you plan to use WHILE you are building it the dollhouse, so you can get to it easily (as opposed to fully building the house, THEN electrifying it (and dealing with it's confines of mini rooms like we did :/) . We did it floor by floor, giving each floor it's own outlet. I hope this helps, although I've got my husband laughing at me right now for even replying to a comment made a year ago. I'm terrible, I know! :) All the best! It's truly a love!!

I've been collecting for over 40 years. I'm more into the furniture and assessories. I have a whole curio cabinet full of it. China cabinets with tiny silver and vases. I love it! I've been collecting for so long I have two of everything, only different styles. I too have thought about donating it, but I think I would upset quite a few family members if I did.😊

+Sailor Blondie , Thanks for your comments! The bathroom sink was originally designated for a dollhouse kitchen, but because I wanted a sink with counter space, I converted it by prying off the kitchen sink hardware and gluing bathroom fixtures onto it. The shower I made by using dollhouse tile floor covering (reinforcing and making the walls thicker by gluing two of them together. I then arranged it how I wanted it to look, then spackled the cracks so it stayed together and didn't look terrible. I made the curtain using cloth fabric, and the 'rings' I bought in the jewelry section of Hobby Lobby that were to scale. Once you get in the miniature mind so to speak, you start thinking of all sorts of different uses for things. I.e.-Jewelry hardware for miniatures. Hope that helps you! Honestly the shower is still a part of the dollhouse I'm not happy with and was hoping to change soon, so it was funny to hear you say you particularly liked it :) I might have to look at it again! Thanks
