I have been following Robert Himler's videos for the past few years and they are very interesting. Amy is lovely, and really adds to the enjoyment of these videos. Amy picked up a R8 as She has always dreamed of owning one and to have a car while waiting for Roo to be finished. I believe that Roo is going to be Twin Turbo'd and it will be sick when it's going to be ready. I believe Robert and Amy are going to make videos of Roo when Roo's done!

Funny story about the Mickey Mantle speech....After my dad had hired him, he told his secretary to go buy a gross of baseballs so that all the employees could have an autographed baseball from Mickey. The secretary was pretty clueless and returned with a gross of softballs...LMAO...Too late to get baseballs instead, Mickey had to sign softballs...Mickey said "if the balls were this big, I would still be playing." HAHA... I still have mine to this day and will give it to my son in the future.

Exactly, I'm pretty sure that I saw somewhere the TT job on the gallardo was 240k though. So what I'm trying to say it that for what he spent on the lambo (not including the initial outlay) he could buy and tune anything he wants on a supra, eg. 1500hp and awd ;)

Long answer: Most definitely, it changed the way I think about nearly everything. Although, Robert and Amy are right, if you read the book without an open mind its hard to comprehend, but I am glad I bought the book. I could tell by the first 10 pages that this books purpose isn't to make them richer, its to share their knowledge and experiences. Short answer: Yes it has more than enough value to be worth it.

I was on a flight once and the skymall had an advert for Gotham Dream Cars. You can rent one for a day, weekend, or week. I owned a Gallardo a few years ago. But living in New York, cars are pointless so I sold it. These kids live somewhere that their racing fuel doesn't even come close to the cost of regular fuel here. The fact that they brag about the things they own shows that they did not come from money, but earned it. That much is true; at least.

@RobertHimler I bought your guys' book yesterday and read it in the same sitting, I'm 15-years-old and it sure put me in a different mindset. It was very interesting to see how both of your fantastic lives came together with hard work and positive thoughts, coming from a kid who hasn't ever finished a book on his own time. I too am interested in cars, and when I read the piece about Robert making 12g's at my age. It was very inspiring, and I wish the best of luck to both of you.

That Gallardo use to be owned by a guy who lived in Sac and bought by a dealer that's literally in the middle of nowhere. I would know, I've seen that exact gallardo around, the original owner beat the shit out of it at every stoplight. On top of that, the dealers owner (luxury motor cars) also likes to take it out for joyrides. Car was under 100K, just as affordable as a new ZO6. Smart lady (lambo under 100K), but I wouldn't buy any car from that dealer.

For privacy reasons, I would rather not answer that question.....I will tell you it is retail brick and mortar. This business is just a stepping stone as was my last business that I sold. I plan to expand this business and possibly start to franchise because it is a very successful model. You know it is good when other successful people inquire about franchise opportunities..My current business grows on average 46% annually. Within the next two years I will venture into another industry.

Where you are right for the most part, I've found that the stock market side of it does work mostly. I'm not saying it's easy or "get rich quick" by any means, but it is working for me. I educated myself on reading and understanding the data on currency trends, as well as oil. I'm making money. Good money. Often more than expected. But to do this takes huge risk and large capital. I started with 20K, and even after a big loss today, came up 11K in profit. Thanks to oil and a strong Aussie Dollar
