Amy Warlow is the first VIP Award recipient at UHP

Amy Warlow, Clinical Lead Radiographer at UHP is the first recipient of the Trust’s VIP Awards.
The VIP Awards are an ongoing recognition scheme, created for staff and patients to celebrate and recognise our colleague’s hard work and what they have done well.
The nominations were made live towards the end of September, and the first set of nominations were received by the judging panel at the end of October, with Amy received a staggering 9 nominations submitted for her.
One of these submissions, stated: “Amy is a true example of someone that goes above and beyond every day. She uses the trust values in her practice and encourages us as a larger team to do the same. This has resulted in a better working environment for us all and ensures that we are able to work better together in the challenges we face daily.”
Ann James, Chief Executive at UHP came down to the Radiotherapy Department to present the award to Amy and said: “What your colleagues have said about you is that she always role model the values of the Trust, and that you always make the very best of the situation, and that she never fails to support your colleagues.”
“It is a great honour to be able to say ‘thank you’, on behalf of all your colleagues, and the Trust, and you are a very special VIP, and we are very grateful that you are part of our team. People like you make the world of difference to so many people.”
