I get into these spells where I cannot stop watching videos of Amy. When she is performing I feel like she's just got so much amazing beautiful energy in such a small tiny little vessel and as much as I adore every word that comes out of her mouth. It does upset me to know that we won't ever be able to hear a new Amy Winehouse song again , and it all comes down to Pride , pretty much , that is what breaks my heart. Not just her Pride but other people's Pride that they projected onto Amy. And no one who was in any position to be able to make a difference seeing the red flags (cuz they're were so many before it was too late) I just miss her I hate that she's not with us but it is what it is and that's all there is to it I just pray she's at peace... still unbelievable though that whoever is in charge whoever you're higher power is in your mind would let her burn out so fast but it all comes down to Free Will and choices I guess that's what upsets me the most and the whole Only the Good Die Young Thing is just so sickeningly true that it makes me question a lot of things. Honestly it's not just her I want and wish to be here but they're not and it makes me so sad and so angry but Amy was different from so many other artists she was almost an entire genre of music in her own right even though I know it's just going back to the old school R&B and Blues added with a little bit of a lot of things and that's what makes her and her music so one of a kind. I'm not saying there's no other bird out there singing the way that she did I'm just commenting on her in particular and the fact that I haven't heard anyone that's even close to what she was performing anymore. At least no one that I've had the pleasure of hearing. Please if you feel like you know someone who's style is almost the same I'll take suggestions the truth is usually in order to match up with her in any way I have to Journey backwards in time LOL
