I love how she's so nonchalant that she effs up and has to start over, but cares enough about the audience to say, "You know, I effed that up. If you wanna leave, you can... but if you stay, I ain't leavin' til Thursday!" Love this chick.

The day Amy died my heart just broke and I didn't know her. But I love her as a sister, my best friend. When she sang I knew that I was not alone; that there was someone else in the world that felt the way I did. And in my joy and despair she was next to me, holding my hand and singing just for me. How rare is that? What a great and terrible loss. Tears roll down my face and my heart bleeds, forever.

Well I never get tired of saying something about Amy. She was a genius! She wrote almost every song she did first of all. Second she started young she knew what she wanted and that she had the talent. And thats putting it mild. As I have said before people who have it all and are determined to make her music! There's only Amy Winehouses, Janis Joplin, Billie Holidays, the best of them that come around every 35-50 yrs. So sad

I truly admired & respected the talent of Amy Winehouse........I really did. As for myself, personally......the DEFINITE saddest part of her untimely passing is the mere thought of what the world of music truly lost.......WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN.....had not the demons of Drugs & Alcohol become such a major part of her existence. She was UNIQUELY gifted......the kind of gift that is most noticeable when it's gone.

Soulful, sensual, and superior vocals makes her legendary. No one can duplicate bcuz she shares a piece of her thru her music. Her interpretation and projection of each song makes her a real singer. They tell a story thru each song. You feel the love, pain, loneliness, etc. bcuz that is what real singers do. What a gift and a tragedy at the same time. Sad she had to leave us but happy she shared her gift to the world. You knew she was struggling thru things but we loved her just the same. Rest In Peace great one. Mos def? Love him n he killed it. Music at its finest. Hip hop meets diva ness.
