One of the great things about Amy Taylor and this band is that they are accessible and down to earth. My wife and I saw them in Austin a few months ago, and the band members were out in the crowd like the rest of us and supporting the opening bands. She was more than happy to let us have a picture taken with her. I consider them to be one of my all-time favorite bands, and they're just getting started.

During covid lockdown, when all the Aussies could go nowhere - the band could travel around country victoria. There is a little pub a mate owns, it has a rickety outdoor stage. About 100 people came to watch them play. They were stoked to play some of their new stuff. If you've lived in Melbourne Australia, so much of their music is really relatable, about the music scene, the pubs, the people wandering the streets. This band is tops like a chicko roll.

@@josefk5659 You're right I forgot that the first rule of being a punk band is sounding like another punk band. Punk to me is everyday blokes who don't care about public image and aren't manufactured like mainstream and pop music. Usually has to have guitars and they're not usually just singing about their love life. Of course, there are other elements like Rock based guitar music and so on but I do believe like bands like IDLES and Amyl & The Sniffers are closer to the type of bands that blossomed in the late 60's and 70's than most bands have in the last 40 years.
