I chuckle a little bit when I watch "Amy Learns to Cook." I remember her first videos where she was so nervous and awkward. Not anymore. She is now completely confident, honest and without a shy bone in her body. I'm happy to have seen her develop over time as she now operates in the space and time that she was always meant to be in.

Excellent! My favourite "gadget" of 2022 is my Kenwood Chef Titanium mixer (with food processor and blender attachments) that I got for only (are you ready?) $45.00 (forty-five dollars). The seller had used it about seven times and wasn't baking often, so she decided to sell it.

The other benefit of the Creami is you can make ice cream with sweeteners other than sugar. For diabetics (or anyone on keto or don't use sugar for other reasons), it makes ice cream doable again!

My gadget of the year is not as fancy or big as yours but it's one that I find very, very useful for pickles and olives: Chef'n FridgeFork Condiment Fork (Arugula and Meringue)...I discoved it not long ago and it's fantastic to grab pickles and olives! Amy, happy NewYears, because of you I purchased the Breville food processor 12 cups 😅😅😅 now I have three ! Cuisinart old old one but is like new, then Kitchenaid which I hate and can’t even look at it. Breville is definitely a winner. Thank you for what you do. Keep it up. ❤❤❤❤❤

Your link to the Hobart N50 Mixer is the 230v model and is about $3000 more expensive then the 120v version of the same mixer.

I can vouch for the refurb mixers. I have a refurb Kitchenaid 600 and it was like new out of the box and runs like new. I ended up getting my 600 for maybe about $130 after a Honey rebate and 15% off. I can't complain at all.

I was kind of hoping it was the KA mixers! Thanks for the information on the knife. I am going to look at that. For me, the gadget of the year would be a tie between my IP Air Fryer 6 qt and 5 qt KA stand mixer with attachments! I got 2 new attachments this year and use my KA mixers a lot, mostly my 5qt. It is 20 soon to be 21 years old.

@@liza5532 This year I got an attachment for the bowl that is metal and is a spout. Larger and more sturdy than the plastic one that came with my mixer years ago. I use that that when I dont use my sifter/scale attachment. I also got the ice shaver. That is fun! My top used attachments are the sifter/scale, spiralizer, and grater set. I use those weekly.

Amy did you ever try making ice cream with dry ice in a kitchenaid mixer? Chefsteps has a KZbin video showing how to it it. Their method works with any ice cream recipe. It produces WAY better results than with a salt/ice or frozen bowl style maker. Plus it’s fun!

A 10 piece Demeyra 5-ply cookware set is a grand. $1000.00 for cookware is beyond my budget. But I'm confident they're worth it. So I purchased the Legend 7 piece set for $300.00 and they are beautiful pieces. Not that I think they're equal to Demeyra, but like Demeyra, the Legend cookware is 5-ply induction safe stainless steel. For comparison....a 14 piece Legend set is $1000.00 for a black or gold copper core. Amazon doesn't carry the Demeyra 7-ply stuff but I imagine its very pricey. You get what you pay for. But just when I thought Amy was preparing for launch with Demeyra cookware, all my suspicions were confirmed with the $4500+ Hobart N50 stand mixer. Unless your running a catering business out of your house, I can not see why any average cook would need it.....Zowy!😂. A four pack of the Chef Master butane cannisters is $28.50. Now with this Amy has returned to earth and given me a new idea.

I have one till in the box approx.1 1/2 - 2 months , gave my neice my stainless steel ice cream maker I paid almost $500 for many years ago $499 plus tax now I think it goes for around $399/ plus tax but it makes it instantly you don't have to put anything into the freezer. I only used it twice for chocolate, vanilla made excellent ice cream. I moved to sm.apt no extra counter space. it was a bit too heavy for me with bad shoulders need surgery on both, plus bth Knee's keep putting it .off because of Cov-19. I moved don't have the counter space but I gave it to my niece kind of miss it because now you have to set this one in the freezer and I don't sometimes have enough room and I haven't made it yet. Like I said still in box.Not sure if she has made any. Thinking 🤔 if she not using it mayget it back and use it.
