I think instead of minimalist, you may want to be intentional. I find that when I make any purchase, I now check with myself to see if I just like it or if I really love it and also where in my space it can be used. I try to think of atleast 2 or 3 places that it can be used in my home and if I can't come up with atleast 2 places then I walk away and give myself time to think about whether or not I really want it. I find that when I do shop with intent I don't buy as many things and what I do buy I truly love and enjoy long term. Makes it a lot easier to decorate your home as well because you only have things that you love and it's not a lot it's just enough

I love no clutter, I realize every spot doesn’t need a vase with faux flowers, or statue. My space has become more calm, easier to clean and intentional with the items I treasure. Sometimes I rotate the decor.❤

We have something in our neighborhood called free cycle and it’s just a way to give away what you wanna get rid of and maybe find something that someone else is giving away that you could use. It’s pretty fun and wonderful to get rid of things.

My mom gave me her old nativity, i bought a manger to fit the figures n used concret glue n glued all pcs onto wood inside n that was at least 20 yrs now. Its about 14x12 , she got me new one 2 yrs ago ,she forgot she gave me one yrs ago.

My deco style is....whatever I like. It's a mixture of "styles". If it brings me joy to look at it, then why not? 😊 My Christmas tree is a live tree withtraditional multi colored lights, dried oranges, my kids baby ornaments, glittery snowflakes,popcorn/cranberry garland from Hobby Lobby, and a star on top. Brings me such joy. Our decorations are nativities, old decorations that I got from my mom so 70s style. 😊 Do what makes u smile.❤ My oldest daughter is married and her Christmas tree deco style is very opposite mine but loves coming over and basking in the glow of childhood tree memories. ❤ Everyone has their own likes. Don't decorate for other people or because you're in a particular place and think you need to decorate accordingly. Do what you like and as someone else said... be intentional. Wisdom is intentional. Foolishness is fly by the seat of your pants. Wisdom is buying and knowing what you're going to do. Foolishness is buying and then tossing it..waste of money. Uno no mercy is our go to game. Definitely look into getting that set for your family (or 2 decks). My gamily gets intonit so much. We will do Regular uno when there are younger kids playing.
