I haven’t gotten out of my pajamas for 16 days now. I shower and put on clean clothes and then repeat the next day. I am staying with my mom, she is elderly and I don’t like her alone. The kids(they are adults) are at my house because they are working still. I have been cooking for both houses which keeps me busy and doing extra deep clean jobs God bless you and your family. I watch you everyday. I am one of the unlucky people struggling with staying home. I am over 65 and health compromised. Surgeon General said for us to stay home. Between God and KZbin I get through the day. I can set in my patio to help get fresh air. Thank you for being so real, and blessed to believe. 🙏❤️💐

Hi Amy ! Here’s a suggestion for you, I clean my shower with a broom. I have in a spray bottle a mix of water and dish soap mixed , you just spray that in 🛀 or shower and scrub it with the broom is easier and faster and you don’t have to bend over and that way you protect your back. I work for a company who provides before care and after care for the school districts in my area.So now that the schools are closed,my company has one school open in each school district so that the doctors,nurses,police,firefighters and national guard etc can have childcare.Glad to see you and the family are safe!

Amy, if you don't want noodles (I don't know about the real thin ones) to stick together, put about a teaspoon to a tablespoon (depending on the "load") of butter, or some oil (that will work too), into the boiling water. No salt, just a grease of some kind. It works like a charm!

Hi Amy, I recently found your website, and began watching. I am intrigued by the fact that you said you had ten people living in your house. I didn't realize they were all your children until maybe four videos. I thought you had a lot of realities living with you. Then I caught the beginning of one video where you introduced your family. I was overwhelmed. I immediately fell in love with you, your husband and all your kids! What a wonderful and remarkable family!!! I love many of your recipes and took notes on them. I'm 71yrs old, live alone, and do all my own cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc. I'm a viet man combat veteran, and still have occasional issues with PTSD, which I've been thru many years of therapy. Many times I don't feel like cooking, and I wouldn't eat which is bad as I'm diabetic on insulin. I'm also a christian, faithful. So you have given me a gift, I cook up meals out them in freezer bags, and it takes only minutes to prepare. I also put prepared starter meals in freezer too. Thanks to watching you do it for ten, I do it for one. Makes my life easier, and I get lots of recipe ideas from you. Thank you,Amy, my best to you, your husband, and all your children!! Maxine is soooo good during bathtime! I have a 'miniature (I use that term VERY lightly, lol) Australian Shepherd and I have to get in the bathtub with him in order to keep him in! I wish he'd stay still like Maxine does :O) Thank you for the link to your church services! I didn't get any of my notifications after you responded to me, but I checked and found your link :) It's so great that we are able to watch services at home during this time! We used to wash our GSD (German Shepherd Dog) with the garden hose. She *loved* water and was always good with getting wet and playing with water. My mom just couldn't deal with the amount of fur that came off after bathing (even after brushing her first). LOL!

You answered a question that we've been curious about for years! My mom recently lost her 17 year old jack russell to cancer. Maxine is so sweet .. my 2 Chihuahua loves to burrow too ..My husband is laid off and we have been cleaning basement and he painted our stair well from basement to upstairs , mowing grass .. I know a snack you might like: it's a everything onion or plain bagel with butter and mozzeralla cheese. You let the bagel defrost and then put magarine/butter then put mozzeralla on top and microwave for about a minute or enough for the cheese to melt. It's so good. You can do it on a baked potato also.

We are still on lockdown here. Going on the 3rd week, I think. Grocery stores, doctor's offices, pharmacies, and banks are still open, but restricted and with rules, plenty of rules. Also it is recommended you stay indoors and not get out if you don't have to go places. It has been prolonged until April 19th, and I think they are going to do that again and go until May 3rd if things don't get better. Hang in there, Amy & family! Greetings from Belgium (EU).

I love what you did to your dining table. I watch your channel to get ideas to tell my daughter. My daughter has 6 kids and a husband. I watch cause she doesn’t have time to watch. She also has a home on a mountain. She actually lives on top of the mountain. They have all kinds of farm animals like chicken, 8 horses, I don’t know how many cows just to name a few. So you can see why she doesn’t have time to watch. She has it all under control but the laundry and getting dinner on the table in a timely manner. I watch your channel and tell my daughter different things you do that helps you to cook dinner. Lately I’ve been sharing some of your videos I think would help her. We live in the mountains in the desert so can walk wherever we want....but not being able to go to town has been a little disconcerting...lol but actually good..not spending money ...so around here our daily life being that we are dry camping year round...is always busy. W e have taken up some new studies and that is discovering the plants that are edible an medicinal that grow around here. Amazing enough you could actually live off this land. We have been making too many goodies and watching movies but have been enjoying that when all our work is done. We have to haul water...run our place on solar panels and propane that we have to have filled monthly.....and we make ALL our food from scratch...but ..we just enjoy our lives and enjoy being with each other and the views from our place. Praying that all is going well with everyone and keep positive......I am 70 and just try to make everyday as special as I can.

I'm having a really good day today, Amy. I'm boiling the water for Delux mac and cheese (I just buy generic Kroger kind), to go with the meat loaf I got at the tiny store that is still open nearby. My dad took me after going to light therapy for my feet. The cashier was wearing some kind of mask, it was scary. I'm probably having green beans with the meatloaf too. I cleaned my kitchen including washing the floor (I refuse to buy a mop - not enough room to store it). Glad you got to go out. Today it was really windy, so when I got back I decided not to go out, and it is gray too here today.

1st I never ever thought your intro video was self centered at all. I knew what it meant. ❤️ no worries. That never even crossed my mind. I am 100% convinced that I need a pressure cooker now! Haha! I bought an air fryer a few Christmas ago. (From me to me haha) When my oldest son rented his very 1st place he gave me those big brown puppy dog eyes for the air fryer. Of course I gave it to him! 😉 He still uses it all the time to this day. Glad the new recipe turned out so good. I’ve never fixed that before. So I can’t answer the no liquid question. You just need a little more sauce or a little less noodles for the Pad Thai. I’d probably do a double batch of the sauce. Try it with thinly sliced cooked chicken breast next time. Soooooo good.

Aww bless Maxine having her bath in the sink, she’s so good even tho it’s not her favourite pass time 😂 my two little horrors try to escape at every opportunity when there having there baths, my little boy dog is the worst in fidgeting & growls whilst wagging his tail ten to the dozen 😂 he’s a sausage dog crossed with a chihuahua & is a grumpy old man 🐶 I absolutely love the scenery where you live, it’s beautiful no matter what the weather is. ❤️

I have to say you have great kids. I would leave the shower so dirty; with hairs stuck to the wall from washing my hair. Got my butt kicked for that from mom. Only had "a chance" to do it a couple times. LOL!
