I do feel blessed...my children are the children who are usually overlooked and considered by some as unadoptable...most are medically fragile, minority, older children....the triple whammy...but i can tell you, these children bring th most love and joy to my family...if you do eventually adopt, please consider a hard to place child....there really is a need...

Ha ha ha! Doing a food drive for your kiddos when they are grown. This comment was cracking me up, as I do food prep for one of my grown sons. He lives just a few miles down the road, works eleventy billion hours a week and AND he hates to cook. His roommate knows how and likes to cook, but is currently healing from a motorcycle accident and has lost the use of his dominant hand. SO, mama to the rescue. ;) LOVE your Gather your Fragments videos. My mom has been visiting this month and buying a little of this and a lot of that, and a few things in between. LOL! When she leaves in a few weeks, I’m going to be gathering ALL the fragments and cooking up something tasty.

I make a chicken club salad. It’s chicken, mayo, Dijon mustard, crumbled bacon, cheese shreds, and parsley. It is good cold of hot. I have taken bread dough or canned biscuits put them in muffin cups pressed them down and filled with the chicken club salad and then baked by biscuit directions.

We love Ticket to Ride. We also have Catan, but the dice version. Our five girls are all under 9 years olds so it was easier to start with the dice game. As far as LONG jeans go, I found some at Duluth that have a 35" inseam, but they ate not cheap. I have also got some at the Buckle that were 37" inseam but they were stupid expensive.

I got zero done today.. Morning sickness is kicking my rear already and I'm only seven weeks along. I'm already dreading the next 12ish weeks (I one of those that get morning sickness well into their second trimester). My husband, thankfully, got off early today and is making the kiddos dinner. My older kids spent part of their free time today cleaning the common areas so the house is semi clean. I am really blessed to have a family that is always willing to pitch in when its needed. Tomorrow will be a better day. It has to be. I have a date with my oldest daughter to pick out her birthday outfit and make her birthday cake. I don't get a lot of one on one time with her so making that time to spend with her is important to both of us.

I've met a family in Michigan who lost one of their children to asthma attack and they are telling people to beware of the 2nd 3rd weeks of September which are when his attack occurred. He was playing video games sitting on the couch and stood up saying, "Mom I can't breathe!" Those were his last words. They buried him on my birthday Oct 19th bc the hospital turned off the ventilator. Unbelievable. They're trying to stop this mess with hospitals agreeing to accept a patient but they refuse to treat once they get there.

If you mix up powdered milk and mix with an equal amount of fresh milk, let rest in fridge for 1 hour or more, it will taste like fresh and is great to drink. We always do this. It makes 4 gallons of fresh stretch to 8 gallons of drinking milk. We mix as we need to save room in fridge. It does reduce fat content so take that into account.

There are quite a few version of Ticket to Ride and they're all great (in my opinion). I even play an online version sometimes! Settlers of Catan is also really great, and you can get expansions so that more than 4 people can play :)

I used to do that in the kitchen until my knees got so bad and I have to use two canes to walk and hold myself up. It really takes the enjoyment out of cooking. Cannot wait until I hit my weight goal for my new knees! I can have my life back! I will be able to cook again. The downside is I will have to shop again! I am with Jaden on the shopping! I hate it!
