I wish we had them in my part of NC too. I know Amy is in the mountains of NC but I'm more in the Central part of the state. The closest ones to me are the same ones Amy goes to and that's way too far and wouldn't be worth it for me.

The avocado / guacamole freezes really well if you need to portion it out so it doesn’t go bad

I freeze 2 oz portions of avocado. Put in fridge day before to start thawing.

We live far from a good grocery store, the rural town has a 5 n dime that has a lot of stuff but it's expensive. When you live away from the major supply chains, and you see your products on sale, a couple extra of those won't go bad if you have them in the pantry, and if you can keep cool temperatures in your pantry jarred food lasts LONG TIME and so does Canned food. if the can's are in good condition, no leaks, not puffy, not rusty, then the food is still edible. keep your extra flour in the freezer, can do this with cooking oils and shortenings and nuts. don't waste food.

Good morning Amy Yes what a great haul. That avocado/guacamole was a terrific buy but then I could go up n down and say the same with your purchases. You have the eye for spotting items. But to save the best for last….the eggs how can you beat that price. The bagels were on sale this week in my grocer6 store for $3.99. I’m so happy for you. Delicious meals coming up. I wish we were able to get grocery’s that cheap here,But it’s at the nearest town where I live is 90 miles one way. But Montana is my home and wouldn’t change it. Love your videos.

Had fun seeing your haul & your Dawn. Gods an Amazing Artist everyday. The eggs freeze really well. I do in batches 1 or 2 for baking (break yolk + tiny pinch of salt) The best: Scrambled egg mix, freezes for a long time.

All those bagels reminded me of my school lunch manager days. Pizza Bagels were always a huge request by the students! They were crunchy, yet soft and with sauce, pepperoni and cheese made a great meal. It was ALWAYS a hit!

Good morning. Always love your discount shopping house. Do you freeze your the Cabbage coleslaw by itself or do you make the Bulls and then freeze the Bulls? What a deal on the bagels. If I still had to be the eggs. There's almost $8 I think there's 770 something here for a dozen. So much so that I've looked into and are beginning to use some of the egg substitutes such as mayonnaise for my eggs because it's so much cheaper. How’s the potatoes with the meatloaf? I have the potato with the meatloaf that will be good. I’m trying a new recipe this week. I’m trying to make Salsberry steak and I made steak grinders for dinner tonight. Tomorrow’s gonna be easy. I bought some meatballs and I’m gonna make some spaghetti with meatballs and a salad and then I have a pork roast I’m going to make I have my whole meal planned out this week and then I’m gonna take out some chicken this week and then that’s my whole Week
