Practicing on the small dog was the best! Love that groove Amy. Would love to learn that well.

The first time I heard nardishans roll I was like, holly Molly what is that sound, how does he do that.. after two days of trying I was not even close to what you both archived. Thanks for sharing your experience, it's always a pleasure to watch.

Wow, 3 days and I felt for your nails . Impressed with both your skills and would lean towards Rosie for complexity, however I loved the simplicity and improv from Amy too. Well done to you both 🙌💛🙌

Thanks! I agree, Rosie's composition was way better than my non-attempt!!

I didn't think yours was a non attempt, your circumstances were just different.

I think you both did phenomenal.. I'm still trying to master it and this gives me hope. A key piece I took away from the whole video was remembering to relax while using the roll, and also composing while practicing it allows you to feel it more. Awesome job!

Thanks Jimmy! Yes, everything changed once I managed to relax my hand

hahah this is incredible! really good progress for sure in just a couple of days. i will start trying to practice this daily i would love to incoporate this in my playing as well. right now my left hand really doesn't wanna do it, i feel like my right hand is quite decent at it.
@AmyNaylorMusic Жыл бұрын
Haha thank you! Yeah my left hand is still so stiff. For me the big issue was timing. Looking forward to getting more practice in

That was pretty impressive! 🔥🔥🔥 Be warned - the habit to play these rolls on any surface might stick with you! Some appreciate this more than others! 🤣

I feel the same. It's good to have all these great techniques available to use when it is the perfect moment, but not all the time like in this video 🤣
