I'm actually histatic you visited here. I actually grew up just 3 miles from there. My father taught there out of college and later as a guard after he retired from teaching at a local school district. Tango and Cash was filmed there and scenes from the movie Air Force One was also filmed there. Yes it's very haunted. So excited to see what you drudge up there 😂. This place is right down the road from me, volunteered there as a pusher for almost 3 years, the building is absolutely gorgeous! Glad you got to experience the place, it is really loved in our community. Bonus for us we had a uncle work as a guard there, the stories he has!!

So Amy, I have some advice I would like to give you, as far as complicating with spirits. After all I had my first Paranormal experience when I was seven, saw my first spirit when I was nine. I am now 66, and spent 45 years practicing Shamanism and other forms of The Occult. I haven't practiced these things in about 20 years, and yet I still haven't been able to completely close the door to the Spirit Realm. OMG! THE Shawshank State Prison! It's one of my favorite movies! It was also used as a training camp for soldiers in the American Civil War. There may be more than just ghosts of former prisoners there. 😯

What an intimidating location, such a chilling history. That ominous outside approach shot was very cool. Jarod throwing the cigs at the REM pod cracked me up!! Can’t imagine walking down those rows of cells as a guard when the prison was in use!! Any prisoners could reach out for you at any time from the distance it looks like you have in the walkway!!
