I had heart palpitations when I saw you got my letter!!! I just got out of the hospital almost a week ago and I ended up in the ICU AGAIN. But this time it was because my blood sugar dropped to 13 in my sleep. And if my friend hadn’t come into my room to say goodbye to me, no one would have caught it in time. But! I’m doing a lot better now, I think. Hopefully I can avoid the ER/hospital for at least a month now. 🤞

Do you have type 1 diabetes? Since your blood sugar dropped so low while sleeping, don't you have cgm-system with alarms?

Jaana Virkkunen I did have the CGM but it was causing me more stress than it was was actually helping me. I might try it again down the road, but for right now, it wasn’t helping at all.

Love this, it's great to see you getting so many lovely things you deserve them. Hopefully one day I'll get something to you. My son is struggling we now homeschool as he was off so much. He's had a ultrasound, barium X-ray, just waiting on results, waiting for his endoscopy appointment. He just doesn't keep anything down, antisickness medication doesn't work, he's on something called movicol for faecal impaction, just want to be able to help him. He is 11 loves watching your channel and said Amy is brave, so I can be brave too mummy ♥ ♥ ♥ x

I found my hufflepuff pillowcase on zulily. As for being independent, I totally understand! I just got back from the intestinal failure unit at the Ohio's Cleveland clinic, where I was able to get a few tests run. I travel by myself and enjoy my independence. Tonight however, I realized I'll never be able to live alone. I fell, in the bathroom. Luckily, I had my pants up! Don't know what happened, just turned and down I went. Things went flying off the counter, off the new shelving my son just installed, the full length mirror fell over on me... just call me Graceful!! My mom, son, and dog were all in the bathroom trying to move things out of the way and help me up. I'm terrified to look at my left knee, and I think something tore in my arm. If I had been alone, I would've ended up sleeping on that floor.
