I was in a marching band like this before. This is really greatly amazing! These kids are in their 12-18 and they must have been practiced and disciplined for hours a day for months so that this show come out perfectly. They represented their school on Sport Day where in some provinces different schools would do joined completations. The schools would know where each band represent by their colors and sash on the first and foremost major. She is in charge of the entire band, that's why she walked backwards some times. The marching band is a big thing. They take pride in being the face of their school. I remember how I was trained to look professional, smart, strong, and beat the other schools! Thanks for sharing!

You know I was a member of the Marching band. I used to blow a pocket Euphonium for three years since 2003-2007. It was pretty good experiences. The band is C.V. band, is the acronym of Cha - uat wittayakarn school. The school is in Southern part of Thailand in Nakhon Si Thammarat province. The distance from Samui island about 120 miles. All of members was trying to practice in the camp of school every month before a sport day will arrive in each years. They spent time all afternoon and on day off and go to bed almost mid night. The band is famous for people who loves to see a parade. Sometimes another organization visit and invite for take them to show for open a fair. I still remembered when I was young. Thanks.

For the most part, parades are a great and fun time... towards the end you asked "why are there colors on the flags? These kids are in high school. Most High Schools have 2 colors that represent them. Now You Know! Oh hold it... wait for it... wait somemore... you commented and asked about their "steps". Each marching team has a "Drill Mistress". She has a few girls that work under her. All together, they formulate a new routine. They work hard and have to keep their grades up high. It is really hard work... I remember that from my high school days!

Amazingly energetic drum major art performance by the high school students of Cha-uad Vidhyakar school in Cha-uad District, Nakon Si Thammarat, Thailand. Nakon Si Thammarat is a province in the South of Thailand where people can find rich cultures and beautiful beaches with fascinating tourist attractions together with exotic seafood. These young performers have awesome skills in keeping tracks of every steps they make for over twelve minutes. Their endurance and skills are intensely trained after school hours until late night. Hats off to the whole team members including those teachers, trainers, costume designers, make-up artists behind the scene. Thank you for being great young citizen of Thailand. This show is happening on Amphoe Cha-uat Sport Day of the Year by Cha-uat Witthayakhan School in Cha-uat District (Amphoe Cha-uat), Nakhon Si Thammarat Province (Changwat Nakhon Si Thammarat), Southern of Thailand.
