I am a jill of all trades crafter, so logically someone gave me a diamond painting for xmas. My mother is a diabetic and gave me about 50 strip containers. They fit a pretty large amount of jems in each. Easy to tape numbers too as well. ;) If you're just getting into something like this, saving random stuff is sometimes a cheap way to see if you like this, befote commiting to a container system. ;) Best of luck to anyone that struggles or organize (and dodge kids that like to spill things). 💙

Hi Rachel, thanks for the second part You are really educating me, I'm all ears, love to listen to your calming voice And still showing off those nails off yours, are you? They look awesome but I told you already in part one😋 Started on my second painting 50x50 square, I'm loving it but it is going to take me a long time Hope to learn so much from you, thanks Rachel 😘 Almost forgot the question 😂 when I am starting with a new color I often notice a forgotten precious one (or two) .. How do I cope with it? Do I have to leave them open or... 😊
@lyndespin5 жыл бұрын
Hi, if I may be so bold as to suggest my solution. It depends on if you noticed that you left a couple or if you left like a whole patch of them. If it's only a couple, I prefer to open the container of the forgotten colour and reach directly into it with the pen. If it's a whole patch, I have 2 methods. First, if it's a small patch I take another tray and put the forgotten colour in it to do the patch. If it's a really big patch (which happens more often than not when working on bigger projects I'm finding), I take a sheet of paper (or the inventory sheet) and write the DMC number and where the patch roughly is, finish my current colour, and then go back to the forgotten patch. In the end, I believe it all depends on preference really. But I hope it will give you inspiration on how to solve it in a way that is perfect for you.

I looked at eBay and saw they had pick up tools like a wheel so you could do an entire row in one take. Sounds smart but I don’t know if it’s practical? What size canvas is a good size, so you can see details? I’m guessing that a picture with a lot of details will not do good on a tiny canvas?

After I watch this one I'm sure I'll have more ? so I'll come back here & just post them on this one. Ok, I'm still watching Ur 2nd posting here & U said if we use tweezers then we don't need the wax????? why? I don't understand what makes it so that we wouldn't need the wax?

I Have Not been able to find One video on how to maintain/clean them to retain the shine over the weeks, months, years?? Can you use rubbing alcohol on a swab?, just a damp cloth with water, soapy water? I know dust, smoke and other stuff will dull the shine after being hung awhile and I want to know how to refresh their shine without doing any damage? I plan to coat and frame my work, no glass. Also if you've lost the baggies from the kits you can go to the store and look for daily pill organize. They're usually in where you get the pill containers for like Monday Tuesday Wednesday in a regular store. You get like a hundred of them for a very cheap. Or even 50 I think. I had to do this as my initial baggies that I got in one of my kits fell blew away.
