An Absolutely Incredible Finale | All Blacks vs Springboks 2015 Rugby World Cup

New Zealand and South Africa gave us a great finale to the Rugby Championship this weekend when the Springboks nipped the All Blacks to the post with a final second penalty. This week we rewind to another classic between the sides back in the 2015 Rugby World Cup when it was an absolutely incredible New Zealand side who took the spoils in a game that went right down to the hooter.

Fun Fact. Of the 23 Springboks in the matchday squad, 8 won 2 RWC's and 3 won 1 RWC. And don't forget Siya Kolisi, who didnt play in this match but went on to captain the team to 2 RWC's.

This game displayed 9 of the best rugby players since 2000: two best scrumhalves (Du Preez and Smith) and the best winger (Habana), Flankers (McCaw, Burger and Kaino), flyhalf (Carter) and center combination (Nonu/Smith), an epic test match. Carter was on another level, once in century allround flyhalf talent- literally had no weaknesses. Kicked like a mule and could slice open a defence with ease- no one comes even close: perhaps Johnny Wilkinson in 2003? This ABs teams is the GOAT in my view.

These camera angles for the kicks at goal are so good, sometimes it really frustrates me how a tv crew can't even quickly line up a cameraman behind the kicker if they dont have shots like these
