Yet another fascinating video. If you're on the lookout for new coffee and food stops in Greenwich I would recommend the Old Brewery in the Royal Naval College. As someone who appreciates history I think you'd be right at home in there.

Great to see you in Greenwich again. I remember you used to live not too far from me a few years ago (not sure if you still live there, I have been m.i.a from KZbin for a while). Me and my partner were in Greenwich on this day last year, we went to the painted hall, walked around the market and Greenwich park and stopped off at the Pavilion Cafe for lunch. Hello Freddie and Monica, Thanks again for another super video. As a teacher, I have taken students from Germany to London and Greenwich for almost 20 years in a row now. This year might be my last year, but I do not hope so. I never forget to take them to Greenwich, as I love the place and the park very much. I don’t tell them about the pavillon because I want to enjoy my tea there in peace and quiet. Ever, so often some of them find the pavilion too, and enjoyed it as much as I do. This year I will make my colleagues, who will join me on the trip, watch your video in preparation of the trip.

That brought back some memories of when I regularly visited Greenwich during 1999-2000. I parked my car by the Blackheath gate and then strolled down through Greenwich Park. I'm guessing the council has since put an end to the free parking!

Hopefully 2024 is as blessed for you as 2023 (except for the Triumph), enjoy your New Year. While London has always been busy I have found London to be nauseatingly busy for the past 2-3 years that I am increasingly put off from seeing new places around the city. I tend to just head for more rural parts now, far more enjoyable. Just like you when you went to Guildford and surrounding areas.

If you ever want to wander a little further out I can highly recommend my home town of Kenilworth in Warwickshire. The old town is fascinating, the houses and buildings are beautiful, the castle is imposing, and we have a number of excellent independent coffee shops...

Freddie you must visit the Trafalgar Tavern in Greenwich next time you're in Town! It's only a short walk from the Cutty Sark and it's unbelievably stunning. Also not forgetting to stop by the famous blackheath Tea hut - a favourite tea-stop for us local bikers on Blackheath Common where you can park your bike right on the grass field by the hut. I highly recommend both!

Never been to Greenwich, how beautiful! Wish you both happy new year and a mended bonneville😁. Still need a spare bike though.come on Fred shock us all. I ve never had a new bike and never had a dud bike. I had an engine blow up on a suzuki gs850 30 miles out the dealer but he recovered me and refunded me. Test a v strom650 Fred just as a spare hack. Do it all, plenty quick enough, reliable and comfy for Monica, easy luggage too.
